With Scan Eat, discover the complete composition of a product by scanning its barcode with your phone or searching for it on the app.

ALL THE INFORMATION AT A GLANCE WITH SCAN EAT
The result appears in the form of a Nutriscore from A to E, a simple and colorful indicator that immediately provides information about the quality of a food product. You will know if the product contains additives, allergens or palm oil, as everything will be indicated with clear and evocative icons. Is the product vegetarian or vegan? Does it contain many additives or allergens? You will know at a glance.

TOTAL INDEPENDENCE
We use the open and participatory database of OpenFoodFacts (https://fr.openfoodfacts.org), which provides several hundred thousand products added by individuals. We aim to provide you with information about your diet, far from all food lobbies and other pressures. You will obtain the composition of foods as it really is, not as certain brands would like to present it.

A LIGHTWEIGHT AND SECURE APPLICATION
Scan Eat weighs less than 10MB, its launch and use are fast, and navigation is easy. All personal information, preferences, and searches are stored on YOUR phone. Only you have access to it, ensuring complete confidentiality. Your information is your information; we will not do anything with it.

FOOD SCANNER
The food scanner of Scan Eat is efficient and very fast; in just a few seconds, it identifies the barcode of your food and displays the product sheet. You will find information such as fat content, saturated fat content, sugar content, and salt content. The presence or absence of allergens, additives, or palm oil will be indicated with icons. If the product has obtained a label such as the Organic Label, Product of Brittany Label, or Red Label, you will know immediately as well.

ADVANCED SEARCH
Scan Eat allows you to search for your foods based on various criteria: their rating, label, whether they contain allergens, additives or palm oil. You can search for vegan or vegetarian foods.

HISTORY AND FAVORITES
You can find all the products you have viewed and those you have added to favorites in these tabs. To add a product to favorites, simply click on the star icon on its product sheet; the favorites list will automatically be updated, making it easy for you to find a product.

LISTS AND TOPS
You can create lists of products that can serve as reminders or grocery lists! We also offer pre-established lists on various themes such as brunch or birthday snacks! The tops feature a selection of the most searched products, the highest-rated or lowest-rated products in a specific category.

ADDING PRODUCTS TO THE DATABASE
If you scan a product that doesn't exist in the OpenFoodFacts database, you can add it directly from the application and obtain its Nutriscore.
